I recently got to shoot Emile Sande’s gig at the Manchester Ritz. I’ve been a fan since I heard ‘Heaven’, especially the Nu:Tone Remix which is just one of the most perfect musical creations ever, but it wasn’t until I heard her debut album ‘Our Version of Events’ that I realised what a major talent she is. Voices like hers don’t come around too often and it’s a refreshing change from the usual autotuned shit you get in popular music.
